IRELAND: A multimillion funding deal has been agreed for the stalled, €73m Cork events centre, which could clear the way for building work to finally start later this year.

IRELAND: The Government is set to ignore expert calls not to build a motorway between Cork and Limerick amid claims its multi-billion euro national framework plan is an electioneering attempt to “give something to everyone” and win over voters.

IRELAND: The Taoiseach will meet the British Prime Minister in Belfast later in a bid to progress talks on forming a government in Northern Ireland.
